Because it's not an easy amp to build.

Especially is you have no experience with amp building, let alone electronics.

BTW, I took a pic of that guy last time I was at GC. Just need to remember to upload it.

Oh yeah from the San Diego GC thread!

yeah, its pretty complex, if you've got electronics knowledge and experience, then go for it, but if you haven't built an amp before, then do something simpler first

Its definitely not an easy build but it was my first build. I did do quite a lot of research before i jumped into it though. Read some books and a lot of stuff on ppwatt.com. The hardest part is the trouble shooting. If your amp doesnt fire up right away you gotta know where to start looking for the problem. I say do a lot of research first then start one. The ceriatone amp kits are great. I got most of my parts form Nik at Ceriatone and he is really cool about questions and stuff.

well i would hope you would make it from parts.
-Gibson SG Faded
-Behringer HB01 Wah (I realize it sucks, but i have no money right now)
-Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive
-Ibanez CF-7 Chorus/Flanger
-I'm not gonna list my amp until I get a decent one
