Anyone else suffer from this? It often accompanies tinnitus which I'm sure a good few of you have I know I do.

Read about TRT which according to many sources is an effective treatment of both Hyperacusis and Tinnitus, anybody had this theropy done? Heard any info about it?

I've been to my doctor recently about both problems and he said more tests would need to be done before I could actually be diagnosed, but I am fairly sure I have tinnitus and hyperacusis. Being referred to a specialist...

I think I have tinnitus. All that confounded loud devil music. And I used to be incredibly sensitive to sound - fireworks, planes, trains, even most cars hurt my ears terribly. But now, I can't get enough volume.

It's developing, I'd advise you to cut down volume NOW. Mine has reached the point where some peoples conversation causes pain to my ears, cutlery clashing is agonising, some things on TV, some music, dropping objects on solid surfaces etc etc. It sucks bad, and is worse in the morning and at night.
