I'm looking for a good heavy song to play. I need some new songs to learn. I was trying to think of one but could only think of ones I knew already.

Any particular tuning? Difficulty?

Beneath the Remains - Sepultura
Redemption - Shadows Fall
To the Rats - Trivium
Angel of Death - Slayer
Stabwound - Necrophiagst
Holy Wars... The Punishment Due - Megadeth
Battery - Metallica
Slanderous, or Halo - Machine Head
Ashes of the Wake - Lamb of God
Arsonist - BTBAM
The Brighter Side of Suffering - As Blood Runs Black
Waking the Demon - Bullet for My Valentine
If You Want Peace... Prepare for War - COB
Pull The Plug - Death
Thunderhorse - Dethklok

Some are more heavy and more difficult than others, but all the bands are good choices. Some personal favorites are Death, COB, BTBAM, Machine Head, and Megadeth.

I'm currently learning "Fade To Black" by Metallica. I'm intermediate, and finding it difficult yet rewarding once I actually get the tough parts. I suggest it. Quite fun.

try Cowboys from Hell or The Great Southern Trendkill (Pantera), really cool songs and not hard to play.

Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth
War Ensemble by Slayer
Creeping Death by Metallica
