Don't bump the same day....BTW, this is probably more suited for the GBC forum...since you're building a guitar.

Link me to this TOM you speak of.

Don't buy your jack from there...it'll be way expensive. Get all your electronics at smallbearelec.com or something. Outside of your pickup selector, they should have what you need.

what kind of guitar will this be?

The metric stuff fits made in asia guitars. And the standard ones fit made in US stuff. Metric and standard are close but not close enough to be interchangable. A standard bridge will fit say an epi until you try to screw the studs into the body then things bind up. Some day US will finally come into the 20th century and use the metric system like oh everybody else on earth. A friend of mine says the metric system is to complicated, I asked how multiplying by 10 is complicated.

If you are making the body yourself then just get whichever one you feel more comfortable with.

Maybe guitar fetish? I'm sure just about any guitar building store will have them.

Any place that sells guitar parts will have the ferrules. And the bridge if your building it I would go with standard as there are far more high quality aftermarket parts in standard than in metric.
