So i recently bought a couple new picks, because i wanted to try out different styles, now i've normally been playing with medium picks (as in medium strength) and i havent had a problem, but today i saw these heavy duty ones, i bought 2 dunlops, and one fender, and after playing all day with them i love them, and i cant go back to medium ones anymore, they feel like paper. So I wanted to know what kind of picks does UG use? Finger picks, light, medium, heavy, thumb or no picks? And if you can say waht brand you're in love with and cant play without.

Dunlop 1.14mm for electric, .73mm for acoustic as well as fingerpick

You should've made this a poll where you could make multiple choices.

I voted heavy duty (Dunlop Tortex 1.14mm), but I also often use my fingers.
#19
dunlop mediums and heavies for electric
dunlop thins for acoustic, but only when im strumming chords and i dont need to play load
i need thicker picks for a louder and sharper sound

well the choice on the poll is what you prefer as your main pick. Like you can have a second, but the one you HAVE to use, before anything else.

Well, combined, my bassing and fingerpicking (combined) equal my amount of playing with a pick, so neither is actually main over the other.

I prefer the Heavier gauge picks, especially when I play my Baritone.
Got a question about Baritone guitars? Feel free to PM me.

Thanks to UG, I converted from Metalcore to some "real" Metal.

I like to use red Jazz IIIs but when I run out of those, I have some ones I found with girly designs over them that say Girls Rock. But I dunno what I did with those, either.. So I made some today out of an old credit card that got cancelled. More often than not, I use my fingers, though.

I love you =] I can't say I was very fond of you when we first started talking because you trolled the hell out of my threads, but after talking to you here I've grown very attached to you.

Yeah, write to my fanclub about it, honey.
