No, Robert Johnson...

It might have happened, but I highly doubt it happened exactly like that on stage and all btw black metallers have been killed off of stage by band members so that might be why it sounds familliar to you.

please excuse my grammar.

Constantly playing live shows and releasing their second album, Deuteronomium became well-known in Finnish metal scene as there were bizarre rumours about them. One example being: "Deuteronomium played a gig at metal bar Valhalla in Kuopio, and after the concert a member of a Finnish black metal band Barathrum stabbed their drummer with a knife."[9] In reality, some members had been to that bar but Deuteronomium never performed there.[9]

Maybe? Taken from Deuteonomium on wikipedia.

mayhem, not stabbed to death,. but he does cut himself on stage and then he shot himself with a shotty

And the members also stabbed one of the other members to death in his underwear, not on stage though

Ah-em, session bassist. And it was one guy. Everyone should know this story.

I'm guessing that your friend is thinking about the infamous Kvarforth-Shining-Maniac (crappy ex-Mayhem singer) incident, where, amongst other things, razors were passed out into the audience, and Maniac carved a swastika into himself and wrecked some of Shining gear. Google for exact details, my memory is a bit sketchy.

Yup, people need to get over it.

Back on track. Isn't it hard to not see your band-mate walk away from the front of the stage with a knife and walk over to your drumset, reach over and stab you?

Sounds pretty impossible haha

People, stop suggesting the Mayhem stuff. If he is even remotely into black metal, he knows about it.

WTF!?? WHO WROTE THIS!?!? HAHAHAHA

Black Metal is simply pushing the envelope of wickedness and blasphemy that has always been present in rock music. Even the Beatles, who were Sunday School boys by comparison to many Metal groups, were viciously anti-Christian and blasphemous and thus did their part to pave the way for Metal. The Beatlesâ press officer, Derek Taylor, testified: "Theyâre [the Beatles] completely anti-Christ. I mean, I am anti-Christ as well, but theyâre so anti-Christ they shock me which isnât an easy thing" (Saturday Evening Post, August 6, 1964). In 1970, Paul McCartney stated, "We probably seem to be anti-religious ... none of us believes in God" (Hit Parader, January 1970, p. 15). In 1966, John Lennon created a furor by claiming: "Christianity will go. Weâre more popular than Jesus now" (Newsweek, March 21, 1966). Though he claimed that he was misunderstood and gave a half-hearted apology, it is obvious what the head Beatle thought about Christianity. In his book A Spaniard in the Works, which was published by Simon and Schuster, Lennon portrayed Jesus Christ as Jesus El Pifico, a "garlic eating, stinking little yellow, greasy facist Catholic Spaniard." In his hugely popular song "Imagine," Lennon mused: "Imagine thereâs no heaven · No hell below us, above us only sky. · no religion too/ You may say Iâm a dreamer, but Iâm not the only one/ I hope some day youâll join us, and the world will live as one." That is a blasphemous denial of Almighty God and His Holy Word. The description of other blasphemous rock & rollers from the â50s, â60s, â70s, and â80s would fill a large book."
