Will any soundhole pickups (say a SD Woody for example) work on nylon guitars? or do they work exclusively on steel strings?

Sorry if this is the wrong place. I was thinking of putting this in section Acoustic section but It seemed too sophisticated for this issue. So I thought this was the best place for it.

No.

Normal pickups work on electromagnetic induction, and nylon isn't magnetic.
