Gibson les pauls sound nice, and you have a tube amp, which you can add the pedal to to make it have a really wide range of sound, and best of all it wont cost a ton of money. I need the UG community's opinion. thanks

Yeah, now you're gonna die wearing that stupid little hat. How does it feel?

Help me to live.

Avoid the Boss at all costs.. your better off buying a MXR dist pedal and a crybaby than that ****e.

Don't buy the Boss!!

You'll kill the nice tube sound of the epiphone amp...
get an overdrive pedal instead.

Multieffectpedals kill sound.. Even at Transistor amps. Buy seperate pedals, and play them first, before you buy

i do it a lot. ill be playin somethin and i forget to close my mouth... sometimes its really bad, slobber everywhere. i goes mostly over the neck, on the higher frets, and its really hard to get out from under the strings.

I'd say go for a high-end Epiphone rather than a low-end Gibson - they tend to be of better quality overall.

What kind of music will you be playing most of the time? It's better to tailor your rig to any particular genre at the amp, rather than stick a multi-effects over any old valve amp.

+1 on the guitar.

i've played a low quality Gibson and i liked the Epiphone Custom LP better, a lot better.

hey bro....don't mean to jack the tread up but are you goint to keep that Strat or sell it? just curious what you final decision was.

TS - I would prolly go for that Epi and if you set on multi-effects units take a look at the DigiTech line. 24 bit codec yo.
