Hi All,I have a Alesis Multimix and I want to know if there is a way to use it with ProTools?

Can I some how hook up a M-audio Fast Track to my Multimix?
(I know that Protools only runs with M-Audio & Digidesign Hardware to get around it?)

Plz Help

If you can live without track separation you can indeed run the MultiMix through the M-Audio Fast Track but all you'll end up with is a single stereo track. For pre-mixing drums it might work OK with a little practice but for guitars, bass, vocals, and keys I'd suggest just using the Fast Track.

Nope, PT needs proper hardware to run...

plus, if you are running a home studio, you don't need it. You can easily get by with something like Cakewalk Sonar.

also, any protools software without the letters HD following it is a waste of time IMO

Sometimes I wonder how many people regurgitating this line in the forum has actually tried both for any length of time.
