I have a line6 vetta two and a '52 MIA telecaster. i am considering upgrading the pick-ups to some Kinmans or something. But will there be a noticeable difference with my vetta ?

Yes, what kind of sound are you looking for and where are you in the world?

i'm just loooking for better pickups, i like my timbre but i feel the sound quality of the pickups could be better. it has too much icepick now (waaay to much), it sounds a bit too scooped (no i'm not scooping the mids on the amp) and more sustain would also be welcome.

i live in Holland. that's europe

why'd you get rid of it ? by the way, are we talking about the vetta one or two ?

would you class the vetta two under the 'good amp' category then ?
i can imagine you would, but i'm just making sure (with the modelling and all, if it's still transparent enough for stuff like new pickups)

kinmans probably won't help with the icepick tone but they will do a lot for your midrange midrange. You could fix the issue with the high end just by changing to a coiled lead that is longer than you would normaly use. The creates more inductance which rolles the very top end. SRV and Hendrix both did this.
