Ok.... Im a bit new to all this.... though i have a stratocaster (well a copy) and im doing the intonation..... the action is at a good height for me, the truss rod is perfect..... though the high e's intonation is flat.... even though the saddle is as far out as it will go....

any help please

Thankies

make sure your guitar is in tune. then tune your 12th fret. if the 12th fret is sharp, move your saddle away from the fretboard. if flat, move your saddle towards the fretboard. use a screwdriver to adjust the saddle screw parallel to the bridge.

EDIT: try to replace the strings.

ive intonated a few guitars before.... the problem is that the E string is still flat at the 12th and the saddle is as far foward as it will go...

(thanks for the change strings idea.... ive done another order of a load of strings so they should come soon and ill try it.... they are gettinga bit old and dirty )

any other ideas would be great

Thanks

maybe the action is too high. strings with high action are harder to intonate.
