I am. I am not a fan of their shape or weight, and not even really the tone. I like the SGH alot more, or maybe the Firebird.

I much prefer PRS & fender but ive never been sure why.
I dont like the neck on the LPs and theyre way to frikkinnn heavy for me and im a 6'3" bassist!
i thought my jazz bass was heavy :P

I got an Epiphone (not the same i know), but i really don't get what the fuss is about, the neck is dead slow, it sounds awful clean. That said, its got a great crunch, but does seem a tad overrated (im a fender man thou)

i used to want one REALLY REALLY BADLY, but then i played a bunch at guitar center and said F this. the necks just are way to fat. their tone is great and love the shape etc. but for the price i wouldn't buy a LP standard. now the LP's with the slim 60's neck. now if i could get one of those babies for i don't know maybe less than like my rent then i'd be happy.

This isn't really a fair comparison though. It's an Epiphone. LPs don't sound awful clean.

I don't like them personally. The closest I come to liking a LP are the ESP Eclipse models. Gimme a V or RR anyday

a) Les pauls look just awesome
b) Usually they play just as they look
c) A lot of famous people use them.And why do they use them? Look at a) and b).
