First of all, I enjoy deathcore for it's complexity and it's the only genre heavy enough for me

This band rules, I'm sure we had them as BOTM for a while. I love the crust aspect of their music, I really need to listen to them more.

No actually not d-beat, if you wanna genre-genre-genre-fie them it'd be 'melo(dic)-crust' millenium crust, tragedy-core, their are a couple of names going around that all mean the same thing. d beat kinda sucks

Internal chaos, yeah they are straight crust but most* hardcore kids hate crusty's so if they like a crust band they try and imagine it's a hardcore band

**most

cute.
why don't you come to a show here. pick up a zine, even listen to some of our local bands (most notably weekend nachos). or even check chicago hardcore forum

and i doubt it's much different in many cities

and i said most, think.

crust punk rules. tragedy rules.

im a "hardcore kid" but i find myself listening to crust, dbeat, power violence, grind (old school/real stuff, not gay deathcore ****) and regular good ol punk more often than modern hardcore bands now.

****s still all good to me.

His Hero Is Gone was had a more sludgy and pissed off sound, i like them better then Tragedy. But Tragedy is a great band,so melodic without making it sound lame.

Great band, I have "Can we call this life" on 7" . Once while on tour I stayed at a place called "the house of crust". Good times.
