My Guitar Pro has absolutely NO sound...I have the full version, no the trial. I tried re-installing it and messing with the options, but nothing has helped. I had sound one day, then the next I have no sound.

Can anyone give me suggestions on how to fix this?

Is it set to MIDI or RSE? If it's MIDI then go to the volume control and turn up the SW Synth.

I have GP3, but recently it just started opening only original GP files. New GP cost so much.

No, I didn't ask this already.

Yes, everything else has sound.

I'm using MIDI...and my SW Synth is turned up...I'm not quite sure what's going on.

go to options>preferences and make sure playback during editing is checked.
