I own a G.w. Lyon by washburn. I noticed there's a crack between the fretboard and the neck, the heel is also separating. i was wondering how i go about and fix this problem? can i just rip the fret board off and re-glue it? should I get a new fretboard? is it even worth fixing? any ideas? btw it was purchased for 5 bucks...
Get some toothpics and wood glue and drip the glue into the places where it's cracked. Then clamp it down for a day to dry. Be sure to put wood scrap between the jaws of the clamp and the neck to prevent marring the guitar.
