so iv done some pretty alright sounding recordings, and they sound great played through the computer speakers while i still have the big recording headphones on, but when i took them off, i relised the guitar was very trebly.

how can i cut the treble, or reduce it to make the recording sound as good as it does when i have the headphones on.

thanks for your help.

oh, and btw, i hade massive latency isses with audaicty, im usuing reaper now, and there is barely any latency to correct at all!!!1! =)

you probably need to adjust buffer settings in Audacity to get the latency away...or try some Asio4All...

on each track theres an FX button....click that and search for EQ.
pull up one and adjust to taste.

Reaper has some old but usable tutorial videos on their site.
