Anyone ever use this tuning? A guy who has been playing for over 20 years and who has been teaching me a lot of stuff started messing around with this tuning. He was learning "Name" by "The Goo Goo Dolls" so he showed me this tuning and thought it was kinda cool.

You can almost hold down any string on and fret and strum all the strings to make it sound like a full chord.

Anyone know bands/artist who use this tuning. And any techniques with it?

If it sounds like a chord, you can always play slide on it. I don't know what chord name that is, though.

Corowind says you dont need to adjust your intonation for that tuning. Just tune in and rock out.
