this is somewhat of a tribute a fallen idol of years gone by (geuss who ) I know theres probably been a million songs written about him, but i recently researched a lot about his life and the whole thing made me very sad, especially his mysterious 'suicide' and the way hes been copied and ripped off since then. anyway here's the words, the song itself is really gritty, old school grunge rock. i hope i don't offend anyone...

desperate voice
distorted words
millions listened
no one heard
mumbled blessings
misheard screaches
reluctant hero
the 90's jesus

(Chorus bit)
Play that music once again
all sounds the same in the end
that Spirit melts your ears again
as you were, as a friend

killed by Love
shot by fame
its all his fault
we're all to blame
apology accepted
left behind
oh well, whatever
nevermind...

Play that music once again
all sounds the same in the end
that Spirit melts your ears again
as you were, as a friend

(coda bit)
supernova
blew a light out
sang his heart out
nothing left

take a piece
from the pile
self denile
idol theft

supernova
blew a light out
screamed his lungs out
nothing left

stolen from us
fallen idol
wheres his trial?
nothing left

That part kind of sounds like it's from "Smells Like Teen Spirit"

Not that you were copying, but since you mentioned old school grunge and those lyrics at the same time it's a little suspicious.

And also the "as you were, as a friend" sounds like it's off of "Come As You Are"

Damn I'm being judgemental, anyways....other than that it's not too bad. There lyrics are fairly powerful. I kind of like it myself.

well spotted, yes i copied those lyrics just so people would know who i was talking about, and i thought they fit in well with what Kurt was trying to tell people: anyone can be a fan, but don't be something you're not, come as you are

Courtney Love, the damn b****

she had something to do with his death, surely. even if she didnt have him murdered she still drove him to the point of suicide

havent yet wathed the movie, i've seen a few documentaries and stuff. i guess ''nothing left '' sort of means that he always gave his all, but he had become bored with music and (he felt he) didn't have anything left to offer. idol theft, yeah that was a weird part i, i guess i tried to i meant it to mean that hes my idol, but he was stolen away, his music was raped for it is was worth Nevermind has been milked for cash, his style was copied by all noob bands and still is today. thats at least what i was trying to get across, its hard to do with two random words like that
