In tux guitar, when i try to palm-mute a section of the music it puts the p.m. sign under every note. Is there any way to get the usual p.m.-----------------| ?

It doesn't affect the playback, it's just so i can tidy up the music a bit.

thanks

Wrong forum, sir.

But, try muting with your fingers? When I play directly on the fret,
I get a muted sound.

What the fug...?

Tux guitar is a guitar pro alternative for tabbing/writing music on a computer.

Yes, completely, and it supports both Powertab and Guitartab files.

EDIT: To TS, I don't know. It could be an issue that's fixed in a later version - remember this program is still in its infancy (relatively).

i think it's pretty similar, bearing in mind that it's free.

I prefered GP, but my free trial ran out
