What would your fantasy supergroup consist of? If you could take the vocalist/guitarist/drummer/bassist from any band and put them together.. who would you choose?

Mine would have to be..

Vocalist: Narrenschiff
Guitarist: Trey Azagthoth
Bassist: King ov Hell
Drummer: Frost

Feel free to add keyboards and whatnot, I decided to stick to the "cookie-cutter band makeup" though.

Get Nergal, Suicmez and Sanders to all be on guitar and then put any random bassist and Frost or Kolias as drummer. Instawin.

SO if Janne and Alexi did a gay porn, would I be the only one willing to buy it?

That's a dumb question, you know everyone in here would buy it too. I know I would!

This thread lacks so much salt...
Dyer's Eve is awesome, and has an abnormally large penis, which doesn't act as any hinderance to his everyday life despite its freakishly large size.

Switch out Åkerfeldt for Joe Duplantier, then we'll talk.

Anyone who knows me on this forum knows I mean no disrespect to Mikael, but, IMO, Hevy Devy and Joe would be a match made in heaven.

Vocals 1 - Kevin Mcaughy (Current Ion Dissonance)
Vocals 2 - Stu Block (Into Eternity)
Guitar 1 - Ron Jarzombek (Blotted Science)
Guitar 2 - Chris Arpman (Psyopus)
Bass - Alex Webster (Do I need to say a band? Really?)
Drums - (Was not easy to make this decision...) Jon Cole (Psyopus for Our Puzzling Encounters Considered)
I figure the vocals would go perfect, because they both have to ability to perfectly capture the mood of the song...and pump it the **** up. Plus, the contrasting styles would make for an interesting sound, I think.
The guitar would be experimental/technical mayhem. 'Nuff said.
Bass...it's Alex Webster.
Drums would be sound great because Jon Cole's style would fit that of the band's odd experimental sound.

Rhytm Guitar: Devy

That would make an interesting line-up.

Main Vocals/ Weird mouth noises: Mike Patton (Mr.Bungle, Faith No More, Fantomas, tons of weird avant-garde stuff)

Growl vocals: John Gallagher (Dying Fetus)

Guitar (Rythym, but will frequently rape the other guitarists with uncomprehensible 2-handed chromatic tapping and killswitch funk breaks): Buckethead

Guitar 1: Jonas Bryssling (Spawn of Possession)

Guitar 2 (Will sometimes harmonize with guitar 1): Paul Masvidal (Cynic, Death)

Bass: Sean Malone (Cynic)

Drums: Sean Reinhert (Cynic)

You'd end up with avant-garde prog.funk jazz-fusion technical death metal. Yes, I know it's a frankenstein abomination of a band.
