It's a pretty basic Dean from about '96 or so.Bolted on neck, string through body.Absolute basic.I was thinking about a dimebucker in the bridge and a pearly gates in the neck.Any advice on the set up or suggestions on different pickups?

I haven't tried the dimebucker, but a lot of people on here say that it isn't a very good pickup. Just a heads up.

Dimebucker is deffinately the Anti-good. Steer away. Far away. If you want that style get a REAL Bill Lawrence L500XL. It's what Dime ACTUALLY used.

Electric - you plug it into a power outlet in the wall and the music comes from little speakers in the guitar.

No problem dude. And the pearly gates is actually a really great neck pickup.
