okive been playing for 6 months, i play alot, and just recently my fretting hand feels like i punched a wall, me knuckles hurt like hell. but it dosent really hurt to move them or when i play. it only hurts when i squeeze my knuckles. example of what i mean by squeezing is like the pressure that is applied when doing pushups on your knuckles. will this go away?

sounds like you put too much pressure when you fret, so go and test out exactly how much pressure you need to apply to get the note to sound right, then learn to use only that much pressure

Pain is your body's way of telling you to stop doing something. Listen to it. Take a break for a few days, or maybe even a week. Steve Vai said (I believe) that there is such a thing as practicing too much. When you pick up guitar again, you'll come back with a fresher outlook and a better way of critiquing yourself.
Sincerely, Chad.

i dont know if this is possible, a few days without guitar would be devistating.
