Hi,im a guitar teacher and today i have a lesson with a neighbor of mine. For the past few weeks weve been going over the caged method and the 5 pentatonic forms. He seems to be getting it,but i wanted to teach him some songs with the pentatonic scales to give him a good idea of how to use them in his regular playing.
Any Ideas?Note:Hes a HUGE John Frusciante(Red Hot Chili Peppers) fan,so he probably also likes Hendrix and alot of those 90s bands as well,so those would be most appreciated!
Thanks!

Hendrix - Hey Joe Solo or perhaps Stairway solo if he is a Zeppelin fan

Check out Red House and All Along the Watchtower by Hendrix, and maybe Texas Flood by SRV
