I don't really like the trem on my American Series Strat and I'm not sure what to replace it with. I want something with good tuning stability which can be used for both dives and pull ups etc.

I play metal, rock and blues.

So what would be a good replacement? I don't really want to have much routing done...

American strat bridges should stay in tune just fine.

Have you lubed the string tree + nut? Something like NutSauce or Vaseline works wonders.

Yeah but i don't like the feel of the bridge. It's also pretty useless for fluttering.

Ah, In which case, a 'Super Vee' trem is perfect for you.

Its like a floyd for strats, but requires no routing or drilling!
