Hi, I've just recently acquired some effects pedals but realised that having a Roland cube amp doesn't put me in good stead with my effects (due to the lack of an effects loop)

Would it be an idea to sell off my Cube 60, I could probably get about £140 for it. But the thing is what could i get that wasn't too pricey say £200-£250 that would include an effects loop. Bearing in mind that it wouldn't need to be over 60w output as I'm not gigging just playing around with noise at home. I do want something that sounds quite warm.

One of my friends has just got a Kustom Quad 100DFX (sounds ok to me and its got a loop) Bit on the big side for me but i think they do a 60w version.

Any ideas!

I'd keep it, you don't need an FX loop to use effects. It just happens that some people like their FX in the loop and some don't, it not necessarily written in stone that you need one.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

If you do want to sell it then pick up a Marshall Micro Stack, just picked mine up and it goes great with effects.

^Fail, do not listen. That micro is an awful amp.
