This may sound dumb but is cradle of filth satanic and/or anti-christian ? Just wondering thanks.

They have musical influences from Satanic and anti-Christian groups, and their music reflects it, but as people they are not.
#3
I would say as a band yes. The people aren't but as Slayer said, Satan sells.

dimebag put as much emotion in to 9/10 of his solos as hitler showed when putting jews in syanide showers.

No they're not. They have a song, well actually just a recorded foreign language chant called "Satanic Mantra," but past that I haven't seen anything Satanic about them.

They're not really, they're just interested in the subject of Satan and the Occult, the imagery that comes with it. It's all for show, in the same way that it's for show with Venom and Slayer. But in all the Cradle songs I've heard, I haven't found much which is hugely Satanic, they mention "The Beast" and some Biblical quotes sometimes, but their lyrics are generally much more centric on Gothic, twisted, and sick tales.

yea man, who ever doesnt like pantera or think they suck doesnt like metal, end of discussion, they changed the freakin world n made history, so don't be sayin they suck, have respect, same goes for machine head n lamb of god cuz their good too
#17
anyway, alot of their interest in satan and the occult goes hand in hand with the music they play. the same could be said about slayer, venom (as you mentioned) morbid angel, and celtic frost. and personally, i understand why. i cant imagine morbid angel singing "praise the god almighty!"

I don't like to think of them as anti-christian, but more along the lines of anti-good music.

This guy is right, and I know because I have all of their albums and my username is taken directly from an album, and I've been a fan for a long time.
