I've been playing bass for 2 years now, and I'm starting to try to teach myself guitar as well. I've been wondering about whats the best way to teach myself a particular style of guitar playing. Any tips or suggestions would be great.
What style?
“Science cannot solve the ultimate mystery of nature. And that is because, in the last analysis, we ourselves are part of nature and therefore part of the mystery that we are trying to solve.”

Post hardcore style is the general idea, but other styles too. The style of bands in the way of The Fall Of Troy, Dance Gavin Dance, ... Of Stalwart Fads, and Portugal The Man.
yea what style?
and you can incorporate your bass playing to guitar
makes it fun when you can apply your bass theory to other instruments.

You win for making me really laugh.

add that:
Learn the guitar parts of your favorite songs. Unless you use a pick on your bass, you will struggle with the picking at first (everyone does), but the fretting shouldn't be anything too bad if you're good.
