Hey,

I am a guitar player and I'm looking to pick up a used bass
i was thinking of spending around 200$ is that okay for something kinda low end but still okay?

heres some links to used basses in my area
if you could help me choose one or suggest a different price range that would be cool

Well, the FAQ has a great list of other similarly priced basses. I also recommend trying those basses out if you can. Used can be a good deal, but if you don't get on with it, or the seller fails to tell you if anything's broken, you could end up spending a lot more on replacement parts.

i'd say go with the first one... are you sure you don't need an amp... don't think that you can run your new bass through a guitar amp, it'll freakin toast it...

i highly recommend against anything gibson or epiphone when talking bass. gibson guitars are amazing but their basses are....lacking.

Yamaha on the other hand is an ok brand and seeing it on a euro website for 269euros i'd say that's quite a good deal. but i highly suggest try before you buy because there's not even a picture.
