I'm getting into the Southern Hardcore and i was wondering what are some good bands.
I like stuff like

Every time i die
Maylene and the sons of disaster
He is Legend

I just found some bands like Memphis may fire and Coliseum just wondering if i am missing anything

thank for any help and i had used the searchbar and the threads like this were fairly old and hoping for some new responses.

Every Time I Die is from New York, and He Is Legend is from North Carolina, which are in the northern hemisphere of the United States.

So basically it seems like I know more about "Southern Hardcore" than you do.

So you want me to recommend some overbearing metalcore for you?

The Chariot, Norma Jean, Luti-kriss, Oh Sleeper, MyChildren My Bride, As I Lay Dying, and The Bled. In all honesty, I recommend you cut the **** and just listen to Botch instead.

yeah, but you should still take all recommendations to the hardcore recommendation thread. Were are trying to reduce the amount of recommendation threads around here to, i think, ... uh... zero.

southern Hardcore is a sound. not based on location.

Cancer Bats being that famous Southern band from Canada. (I realise its more of a sound than a location, I'm just sarcastic by nature)

They're probably your best bet, though in all seriousness. New album seemed to have more of a southern rock vibe to it than the last one from what I remember. It's not that great in my opinion but maybe you'll dig it.

Ah to be fair I haven't listened to the second album more than about twice or maybe three times, and only in my car because it's a promo copy that some label exec thought would be a good idea to watermark, thus making it impossible to play on any of my CD players or computers at home or at my girlfriends.

It's more polished, the vocals are more screamy and less shouty, the songs have more structured. It's essentially a more commercially-friendly version of the last record.
