mmm.. it's made up of notes.

The easiest way for me to remember it is to play the aeolian with a
raise 7th or a M7 instead of a m7

anyway..if you're asking this and is a bit new to this.
If you know the C maj scale
If you play in the key of C...just play the G note as a G#

Just to note, if you play C major with a raised 5th, you will be playing C Ionian+, which is a mode of A Harmonic minor.
