Hi,

I have recently noticed that I am being drowned out by my rhythm guitarist at band practice. I think this may be because I have my mids slightly scooped (at 9oclock) and he uses a high mid setting. Only thing is, I think too much mids seems to make the guitar sound "boxed in" and cuts the sustain.

Anyone have any suggestions?

As you raise your mids, lower your bass and boost your treble. Should get rid of a lot of the mud.

Yeah, thanks. That seems to work
