Probably not! Most the effect will probably sound bad in the lower registers of bass, but effect may work!

Eh?

And you may aswell get one designed for a bass, it would be better for the tone...

you mean will it work physically or will it sound good?

physically i don't think the RP can discern what is being plugged into it as both jacks are 1/4" so I would say just plug a bass into it and see what happens.

it is obviously built to simulate poplular guitar effects combinations so you would be limited on what would sound good. They also make a Bass guitar line in the RP series.

i play both bass and guitar and i have that but in a higher model(rp250)it works with bass and i even use it live on bass.but if you have the cjioce between bass and guitar models get he bass one.but it does sound decent through the guitar model
