If I were to swap out all of my sovtech tubes and replace my 12ax7s with Tung sols and my 6l6gc with JJs (i'm not changing any of the values, I'm swapping the same tubes, just different brands) would I need to rebyass the amp?
Out here you've gotta know where your towel is!

Preamp tubes are pretty much always cathode biased and do not require bias adjustment.
Fixed biasing is almost always only used on power tubes.

yeah, no biasing is required on 12ax7's in the preamp under normal circumstances.
