Can anyone recommend upbeat, mainstream, relatively new rock songs? (Although it doesn't matter if they're not new as long as they're well known)

I'm looking for something like Muse's "Time is Running Out", Buckcherry's "Crazy Bitch" or AC/DC's "Highway to Hell".

Thanks!

Take a look at Cream (the band, I hate the song). Pretty old, but well known.

Chuck Berry - Johnny B Goode (again old, but well known).

Weezer - Island in the Sun (not that old, not known but recognized)

Basically with that request, your gonna be getting alot of crappy music, I suggest you search for some indie music. Most of the time, what I find, is that youll see a way better level of musicianship.

Fender Strat
Epiphone 335 Dot
Carlo Robelli Acoustic

Some Green Day might work, too.. Maybe "Basketcase" or "Holiday". Really easy songs to play, too.

"Woman" - Wolfmother is good, too.

I won't even discuss the first part of your reply because it will take the focus out of this thread. For the second part: "scence" (notice the irony) managers in the biggest rock night club in Mexico City realized it was profitable.
