well i just got my Roland cube 30x today, all was fine until i noticed a strange skipping/clipping in the higher notes on the lead channel, it doesn't do it on the clean channel though and also on the acoustic simulator there is quite a noticeable hiss in the background on every note.
is this normal? or should i consider sending it back?

are you near a monitor? the hiss is cus of your guitar not being grounded

or any other electrical appliance will interfere with your amp. and thus making the clicking/ticking noice

hope i helped

so if i was to unplug all of the electrical appliances, would the clipping stop?
#6
just unplug 'em one at a time... then see which was the cause and plug that in somewhere else.
