The acoustic bass the Mic Todd uses in these has the soundhole in a weird place. What is it called? He's the one on the right in both of them if that helps. I would like to know the type of bass it is and if possible the specific model it is.

Its a hole that makes the strings resonnate through the body. That's how an acoustic works.

I know that, but why is it lower? Does it have anything to do with frequency?

It's supposed to change the tone a little I think. Or produce more sustain. I dont really think it does anything noticeable. It just looks pretty cool.

K, thanks. But I've been looking around and guitar center has all the soundhole's where a guitar's are. Where would I go about finding one like this?

Why would you need one? It wouldn't even make that much of a difference.

Not sure if Ovation makes basses but they have some wacky holes if you really wanted one.

Buy both pickups. Rub icyhot on both of them. Sandwich your penis between them and walk to the nearest homeless shelter with your brand new icyhot penis sandwich.

I don't plan on buying one, I just want to know what kind he uses.
