Just curious, this is probbly a dumb question but what's the main difference between a Marshall JCM and JVM?

Electric - you plug it into a power outlet in the wall and the music comes from little speakers in the guitar.

The JCM800 is good for blues/classic rock.

The JCM900 has a more modern rock sound.

The JCM2000 DSL is decent for rock and metal, the TSL not so much imo.

The JVM series is the newer series of amps, which I haven't as yet tried, but they're apparently more modern sounding than the JCM series.
