I'm redoing my SX strat into something new to keep it from sitting in a corner and rusting and collecting dust. I was wondering what is the best way to make a collage on a guitar using magazine cutouts and the like? Should I glue it all onto the body? Double-sided tape? Any other suggestions? Any suggestions for sealing closely around the contours of the body, the horns for example?

Thanks guys.

Ultimate refinishing thread?

I'd say some sort of spray adhesive for the pictures and countless layers of clear coat to provide a protective finish. You might have trouble getting the clear to adhere to the high gloss magazine paper though - I'd suggest you test it out first.

Yeah, get a small piece of wood and put a few pictures on it and experiment.
