A friend of mine recently got her first electric guitar. Can anyone suggest a good amp, which is cheap, suitable for practise and use in a band? Preferably with a good tonal range (Clean/Crunch/OD).

what kind of price range?
The 15 watt vox ad or the fender super or vibro champ xd are pretty good.

I don't think the roland's were too great with cleans.
Spider and MG are bad news, same with frontman.
Don't know anything about Crate though.
