I just got a 2-point trem (on accident) but my guitar has a 6-hole vintage trem on it. what do I need to do put in the 2-point trem? I know I need to route for
the poles but I've never done this before.

It should've come with the 2 pivots/studs ... then as you mentioned, drill for the pivot posts.

Why not just buy the 6-screw vintage bridge? Check out the Wilkinsons at StewMac or Guitar Fetish: http://store.guitarfetish.com/tremelos.html

I like 2-point better.

EDIT: Nevermind that. I think I should get a vintage. when I ordered the parts, I
originally ordered a 2-point by accident. I called them to tell them to change the order to a 6-screw vintage but I guess they didn't. Is it possible to return the 2-point and get the vintage?
