The room i am recording in is about 15 ft x 15 ft, and has an echoing/ringing effect and alot of extraneous noise can be heard (mainly with the drum set). I would like to get rid of that sound, as cheaply as possible. So far, the only thing i have done is hang blankets/comforters on most of the walls. any and all ideas are welcome.
Foam is cheep, also put the kit on a carpet, or put a small amount of gaffa/duck tape on the skins
Try hanging blankets around the drum set
Carpet and more blankets are pretty much all you can do on a low budget, without actually dampening the drums themselves.
