I was reading through these, and this has got to be one of the most sorry kids. The others are all much older adults it seems, and they didn't really get hit that hard. This stupid but poor kid on the other hand spent his own money on his friends and family cuz he thought he already won, but it turned out that he didn't =/.

I remember getting these emails too, they'd be like "You won 2 million dollars in Nigeria, please help me transfer this account to America to this guy so you can get your prize." and "please send an email to this agent, and then he'll tell you to email this guy, and then send info to this guy" and all this ****. Yup, good thing I know better than him.

Someone on here posted saying that that was him. he asked us to vote for him.

I'm assuming you're either a multi or his friend or even him (I cba looking through my posts for his username).

he was an idiot then, he's an idiot now.

Anyone who falls for one of those blatently false emails doesn't deserve the money in the first place.

People are actually stupid enough to believe those emails?
*stunned silence*

...

His fault for being stupid.

EDIT: If I sound like a cold-hearted bastard, I haven't actually read the story in the link, I just read the OP.
I play by my own rules. And I have one rule; There are no rules... but if there are, they're there to be broken. Even this one.

Confused? Good.

He was stupid, but it's still sad.
The kid tried doing something good with the money he thought he would get.
You're not brutal.

True, but you get my point.
At least he didn't use it in a selfish manner.
You're not brutal.

Never spend money you don't have or stuff like that happens. Again, Darwin as applied to finance.

I know a guy who runs a restraunt and he told me that he recently had a customer who brought all his family and friends to dinner saying he had "won the lotto". When the guy I know inquired it turned out he had received that day an email telling him so... Some people are so stupid its scary.
