A condenser microphone would be best. If you're just using a computer microphone then you arent getting much quality. Condensers will give the truest sound to your guitar. If your guitar sounds good, then do it some justice by using a condenser mic instead of a pickup.
Equipment:
- Art & Lutherie Cedar CW (SOLD! )
- Martin D-16RGT w/ LR Baggs M1 Active Soundhole Pickup
- Seagull 25th Anniversary Flame Maple w/ LR Baggs Micro EQ

Try a Blue-Ball mic. It's $100, so I don't know if you consider that cheap. I know it works damn well though.
