I have an Epiphone Les Paul Junior, that I am in the process of doing some work on. New Bridge, Electronics, and Locking Tuners. Now I'm down to replacing the pickup, and i'm having trouble deciding what to buy. It's mainly for a backup guitar, that I can switch tunnings with. Both my other guitars have trems. Back to the Question. I want something Hight output, but I really don't want to go with an active pickup. I play mostly metal, but also dabble in other genres, so I still want something that cleans up really well. I get most of my distortion from a Boss MT-2. I'm just hoping for some suggestions. Some I have been looking at are.

- EMG H4
- Lace Alumitone
- Dimarzio Drop Sonic
- Dimarzio X2N

Hopefully someone can give me some input, and thanks to whoever responds.

Yeah, I was looking at the evo2, but I heard that with the evo pickups, because they are so articulate, you really have to play super clean, otherwise your mistakes really show. At least that's what i've heard.
