Wrote this starting two days ago. I think it's pretty good.

It's available in GP4 and GP5, but I STRONGLY recommend GP5, as it makes extensive use of wah.

The solos are heavily influenced by Mike McCready (Pearl Jam's lead guitarist) and Hendrix, specifically McCready's use of the "three down, one up" pattern in his solos:

Example:
E|-15-12----12-------------------------------|
B|-------15----15-12----12-------------------|
G|-------------------14----14-12----12-------|
D|-------------------------------14----14-12-|

etc.

As well as Hendrix's use of wah on dead notes in Voodoo Chile (Slight Return).

Anyway, please tell me what you think. I think it's not bad.

i actually really liked it, you got some skills on guitar pro aswell.

word of advice though, never state your age, it makes you seem pathetic and relying on a sympathy vote because of your young age.
which you dont need anyway.

yep i enjoyed it. would be intrested to hear a recorded version if you get round to it.

I guess she's pretty hot if you're into that "having a good music video, but not better than Beyonce's" kind of thing...

some more tips on threadstarting before getting to your song
1. don't add a poll. let people tell you in their crits
2. although it's not a problem, I wouldn't be running around telling everyone who you took your ideas from

but the song sounded great. I think you used the wah too heavily even though it sounded great. I think some parts you could've turned the wah off for a couple measures. rhythm guitar sounded really cool. and I really liked how you chose to reuse a solo to bring kindof a more songlike format to this solo.

great job though. I really liked this.

could you crit my song?

LOL, I'd feel guilty if I didn't. Credit where credit is due, ya know.

True, but I thought it kind of odd if someone just turns off the wah mid-song. For me, either you go the whole way, or not at all.

Unless you're sure she likes you, telling her you like her has a 110% chance of failing.

But hey, at least you have a 10% chance of absolutely guaranteeing failure.
