i just put in a emg after burner in my guitar but now wen i plug it in it only picks up the bass strings and not at high volume and nothing at low how do i fix it o and its 1 volume 1 tone/emg ab and a 3 way switch with a barrel input

It's not sautered right. It needs to be sautered so that it gets the maxium amount of response. Resauter it.

check the wiring diagrams on the EMG website. check that you have a fresh battery. check all SOLDERED connections.

i did all but new battery but i checked battery voltage and its fine

Resolder. Probably have a cold connection somewhere. Your solder joints should look shiny, re-solder what ever joints look real dull then see if it works
