And i'm after a new flanger. Been looking at the Ibanez FL-9, i've tried it out and it seems awesome. Another one i've been looking at is the Electric Mistress, although i haven't tried it out as they don't sell in around my area.

My question is, is there much difference between the two?

If the reissue EM is like the original, then it'll have this 'Filter Matrix' thingy which freezes the flange at whatever it was at the time.

Oh that would be cool

What i'm really wondering is the main differences in tone, sweep etc.

And to the poster that recommended the digitech flanger, that was the first one i tested, thought it sounded a bit sterile for me
