This isn't in the guitar fourms 'cos not everyone plays electric guitar.

So UG, what string gauges do you use? I use D'addario 9-42 on my Ibanez (standard tuning) and D'addario 11-49 on my LP (drop C). Sometimes I like 10-52, I like 'em beefy on top.

I like using Ernie Ball 11's on my Jackson, and Ernire Ball 9's on my Vintage Metal Axxe Wraith. Though I dunno what I'm gonna put on my Ibanez once I get it rewired...

DR 11's and 12's, usually Hi-Beam's.

Ernie Ball 11's on my Explorer and no strings on my Tele, although if there were they'd be Ernie 11's.

.10-.46

Not the best choice right now, since i'm in C# standard, but I don't like to stick to one tuning for 2 months (the usual amount of time between my string-changes), so I won't buy heavier strings. I know that once I do, I'll get back into the habit of wanting to play in standard, so I just don't want that because I hate how tight heavy strings get when playing in standard.

Oh, and DR .45-.105s on my bass.

I have .011-.050s with a wound third right now, but it depends. I had 12-52s for a while. It just depends on what I feel like buying at the time. I have no idea what's on my acoustic. I probably haven't changed them in over a year....
