I gain my sound by plugging my Fender Squier Strat into an Ibanez ToneBlaster 25R amp
For distortion I use an Behringer Ultra Metal 100 pedal.
Anyway is this sound decent or shall I buy something better ? I mainly play Smashing Pumpkins, Slayer, Muse. I have about $150 to spend

sell everything other than teh guitar get a epi valve junior and a proco rat 2, bout £150-£200 worth and itll sound a lot better

it not that bad but for a bit more money you can get better low budget guitars. but your biggest concern should be your amp for now. since there comes most of your tone from.

edit: sell the digitech to.
