And I find the gauge of the strings that came on it when I bought it to be perfect. Yet, I don't have any idea what gauge they are. Does anyone know what the typical gauge is of strings that come on on a new guitar? Thanks in advance.

They wouldn't put anything but 9s or 10s on a new guitar... of course there is nothing to back up my claim, but I've just never seen them put ridiculously slinky strings on a guitar in store.
